FIA F3 — MONZA (ORARI CEST)
| GIORNO | SESSIONE | ORARIO |
|---|---|---|
| Venerdì 4 set | Qualifica Gruppo A + B | 15:05 / 15:25 |
| Sabato 5 set | Sprint Race | 10:05 |
| Domenica 6 set | Feature Race | 08:35 |
Pro Racing Motorsport opens September with the most Italian-flavoured weekend of the season: Formula 3 at the Italian Grand Prix, FREC and Italian F4 at Imola, CIGT Endurance at the same circuit. And from the other side of the world, Joanne Ciconte returns to Fuji Speedway for the Kyojo Cup.
The penultimate round of the FIA Formula 3 World Championship takes place at the symbolic home of speed — the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, stage of the Italian Grand Prix. With the Tifosi in the grandstands, slipstreaming down the pit straight and heavy braking at the Variante del Rettifilo, Monza historically produces chaotic, high-drama races. The championship fight remains alive: Slater leads on 130 points ahead of Ugochukwu (122).
For Matteo De Palo this is as close to a home race as it gets: the Italian competes in front of his own crowd on one of the circuits he knows best. After the Silverstone disqualification, Spielberg and Budapest, Monza is the moment to finally make a mark. Maciej Gladysz needs a clean weekend after two rounds disrupted by accidents that were not of his making. Bruno Del Pino targets points in both races to consolidate his podium standing.
The penultimate FREC round arrives at Imola at the tensest point of the season: the top four drivers in the championship are covered by just 20 points. Nakamura-Berta leads on 172, Wheldon and Al Dhaheri are both on 159, Olivieri on 152. Reno Francot, on 90 points, still has a mathematical stake in the final two rounds — Imola and Hockenheim — but above all needs to close a season that included an unnecessary retirement at Paul Ricard with something to be proud of. The Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, with its technical corners and long guided sections, rewards precision and tyre management over outright power.

Round 6 of the Italian GT Championship Endurance series brings Eliseo Donno and Federico Al Rifai back to Imola. Al Rifai arrives fresh from his Misano Endurance win — a lights-to-flag victory in the rain with Barbolini and Patrinicola in GT Cup PRO-AM — and targets a repeat performance on a circuit that suits his precision style. Donno, following a tough Michelin Le Mans Cup round at Spa (first-lap retirement), looks to bounce back here in the CIGT GT3 class.
David Cosma Cristofor arrives at Imola with 233 points and a very clear mission: close the gap to Sammalisto (288 points) ahead of the season finale at Monza. The penultimate Italian F4 round takes place on one of the most technical circuits on the calendar — blind corners, sudden direction changes, and a grip level that evolves constantly across a packed race weekend. PREMA know Imola as well as any team in the paddock, which is a meaningful advantage for Cosma Cristofor.
Ginevra Panzeri returns to the circuit where she claimed the Women’s category victory in the Final Race back in July, looking to rediscover those feelings in a weekend where she wants to be a factor in the overall classification too. Ryukov and Chartier are both chasing a clean weekend — one that has been missing for too long. Imola, a known quantity for both, might be the place to find it.
On the other side of the world, Joanne Ciconte lines up for the third round of the 2026 Kyojo Cup at Fuji Speedway. The Australian — four second-place finishes from four starts — is the closest challenger Riona Tomishita has faced all season. The script has been consistent: Ciconte is fast, she stays close to the leader, but the decisive overtake has so far remained just out of reach. Round 3 is her fourth opportunity to change that. The Kyojo Cup format features qualifying and a Sprint Race on Saturday, followed by the Feature Race on Sunday. With all five 2026 rounds held at Fuji Speedway, Ciconte’s circuit knowledge now matches that of her Japanese rivals — removing one of the few remaining edges her opponents held at the start of the season.
