Ginevra Panzeri, bergamasca classe 2008, torna in pista con PA Racing by AS Motorsport dopo aver disputato soltanto i primi due weekend dell’anno, Red Bull Ring e Salzburgring.
An all-female weekend for Pro Racing Motorsport. Mathilda Paatz, the Aston Martin-backed driver racing for PREMA, lines up at the Circuit of The Americas for the penultimate F1 Academy round, hunting redemption after her superb Montréal weekend. Ginevra Panzeri is at the Hungaroring for the final act of the F4 CEZ season.
The Circuit of The Americas — 5.513 km and 20 corners in the heart of Texas — hosts the penultimate round of the 2026 F1 Academy season on United States Grand Prix weekend. Three races are on the programme: the Opening Race on Friday, the Reverse Grid Race on Saturday and the Feature Race on Sunday. For Mathilda Paatz it is also a first look at the track.
And it was in Montréal that Paatz wrote the finest page of her 2026: a first career win, a first podium and Aston Martin’s first F1 Academy victory, in a weekend where she was the only driver to finish in the top five in all three races. That weekend earned her 35 points. The tally has not moved since: at Zandvoort she finished without points, and she arrives in Austin eighth in the standings, still on 35.
The picture behind her, however, is far from settled: Paatz is 12 points from seventh place and 15 from fourth, with three races in Austin and the Las Vegas finale (19-21 November) still to come. Alisha Palmowski leads on 136 points, 48 clear of Felbermayr, but the order behind is tightly packed, and a single clean weekend can reshuffle a lot of positions.
The Hungaroring, a short drive from Budapest, closes the 2026 F4 CEZ season with the usual four-race format and a 35-car grid. Ginevra Panzeri, born in Bergamo in 2008, returns with PA Racing by AS Motorsport after contesting only the first two weekends of the year, at the Red Bull Ring and the Salzburgring. On her debut in the championship she had already taken a Women’s Trophy win and finished the opening round 18th overall.
Since those spring days, though, Panzeri has built her season elsewhere, and the baggage she brings back to F4 CEZ is very different: the double top-ten at Dijon in French F4 (sixth and seventh, her best result to date), female-class wins in Italian F4 at Vallelunga and Imola, and points in the Formula Trophy Malaysia at Sepang with a tenth and a ninth place. Experience, pace and confidence to carry onto a circuit where the title fight is not hers, and the finale can be raced with the freedom of someone driving for herself.
At the front the story is almost written: Elia Weiss leads on 299 points, 42 ahead of Borenstein and 59 ahead of Karhan, and needs just 33 points to close the deal. In the Women’s Trophy, Ella Häkkinen is on the verge of the title with 275 points: Mathilda Paatz, second and only 15 behind, and Alexia Danielsson miss the finale because of the clash with Austin, leaving Michalina Sabaj, 25 points back, as the only remaining challenger. Six women are expected on the grid: besides Häkkinen, Sabaj and Panzeri there is Ivonn Simeonova and two debutantes, Austria’s Clara Stiebleichinger with Mathilda Racing and Brazil’s Vicky Farfus with Cram Motorsport.
