Spa-Francorchamps celebra il decimo anniversario dell’ELMS sulle Ardenne con 47 vetture, 140 piloti e 30 team da 30 nazioni. Un campo di partenza imponente per un round che si annuncia decisivo in tutte le categorie: in LMP2, United Autosports deve difendere la leadership da Forestier Racing by Panis. In LMP2 Pro/Am, Algarve Pro Racing e Vector Sport arrivano appaiate in cima alla classifica. Tre round da disputare — niente è ancora deciso.
Griffin Peebles (con Saucy e Hanley) arriva a Spa da leader della classe LMP2 dopo la vittoria di Le Castellet e il secondo posto di Imola: United Autosports è la squadra da battere, e il 7 km di Spa — con Eau Rouge-Raidillon, Pouhon e Blanchimont — esalta i prototipi di ultima generazione. L’obiettivo è allungare in campionato prima del finale Silverstone-Portimão.
Roda, Verschoor e Pin tornano a Spa con un conto aperto: la rimonta dalla 30ª posizione a Le Castellet e il dominio alla 24h di Le Mans (prima del ritiro) hanno dimostrato che il pacchetto c’è. A Spa vogliono raccogliere quello che meritano. Valerio Rinicella porta solidità con IDEC, Matteo Quintarelli continua il lavoro in LMP3 con il Team Virage.

La Michelin Le Mans Cup porta 45 vetture (24 LMP3, 11 LMP3 Pro/Am, 10 GT3) sul circuito che ne celebra il decimo anniversario assoluto: la prima gara di sempre della Michelin Le Mans Cup si corse proprio qui nel 2016. Matus Ryba e Lucas Fluxá Cross sono secondi in classifica LMP3 con il team Brutal Fish by Campos, a soli 12 punti dai leader Frost-Peugeot. Dopo il podio di Le Castellet (terzo dopo aver condotto per quasi tutto il finale), Spa è l’occasione per conquistare la vetta. Isack Barashi e Eliseo Donno completano il contingente Pro Racing in questa gara-sprint che si disputerà nella mattinata di sabato 22 agosto.
Mathilda Paatz torna a Zandvoort — circuito che conosce alla perfezione dopo i due giorni di test in-season dello scorso luglio — per il Round 4 della F1 Academy nell’ambito dell’ultimo Gran Premio d’Olanda di Formula 1. Un weekend speciale per il circuito costiero, che accoglie per l’ultima volta la massima categoria prima di uscire dal calendario F1. La pioggia è prevista nel corso del weekend, il che potrebbe ridisegnare gli equilibri in classifica. La pilota tedesca di PREMA ha già dimostrato di poter vincere — Silverstone lo ha confermato con il primo RGR — e il tracciato tra le dune è quello dove si sente più a casa.

The Michelin Le Mans Cup celebrates its own milestone at Spa — the very first MLC race was held here in 2016. Forty-five cars (24 LMP3, 11 LMP3 Pro/Am, 10 GT3) take the start in Saturday’s race. Matus Ryba and his co-driver Lucas Fluxá Cross sit second in the LMP3 standings with Brutal Fish by Campos on 50 points, just 12 points behind leaders Frost-Peugeot. After running at the front in Le Castellet before slipping to third in the closing laps, Spa is the opportunity to go one better. Barashi and Donno complete the Pro Racing line-up at Belgium’s showpiece endurance weekend.
Mathilda Paatz heads to Zandvoort for the Dutch Grand Prix weekend — the circuit’s final appearance on the Formula 1 calendar, and the fourth consecutive year F1 Academy has raced on its sand dune layout. After her in-season test here in July, Paatz knows every centimetre of the 4.259km track. Her Silverstone weekend — which brought a first career reverse grid win — underlined that the pace is there. Rain is forecast for the weekend, which could shake up the order in qualifying and beyond.

Completing the Pro Racing weekend lineup is 15-year-old Juste Mulder, heading to the Circuito del Jarama in Madrid for Round 4 of the Spanish F4 Championship. The Jarama is one of European motorsport’s most historic circuits — former host of the Spanish Grand Prix in the 1970s and 1980s — with its tight, slow-to-medium sequence of corners that demands feel and precision. For a rookie in his first single-seater season, every round is another step in the learning curve: Jarama is one of the most technically demanding circuits on the Spanish calendar, and valuable experience for Mulder’s long-term development.
